You need to follow the below steps to Troubleshoot Internet Connectivity Issues of the Jiofi Device

Step I – Open the back cover of your JioFi device and reinsert active Jio SIM in the SIM slot

Step II – Make sure that the JioFi device is switched ON, Battery is sufficiently charged & WiFi on the connected device is ON

Step III – If it is OFF, check settings and turn ON the WiFi device

Step IV – Check if the status of the JioFi device name SSID listed is connected

Step V – It is not connected, select the JioFi SSID and enter the password to connect. The default password is printed at the back of the JioFi device beneath the battery and is case sensitive

Step VI – Check your JioFi network indicator. Green color means Good Coverage Area, Blue or 2-3 network signal bars mean Medium Coverage Area, Red or zero network signal bars mean Low Coverage Area.

Tips for optimum performance of your JioFi

1) Keep the JioFi device within 10m of your connected device
2) JioFi device should not be connected to more than 10 devices at a time
3) Avoid interference between JioFi & the connected device viz. wall, microwave, cordless, and others
Once all the steps have been followed, you should not face any problems in connecting the JioFi device.
