What to check
The preview image should be a direct image address. A page address in the image field will not render as a picture.
What size should the image be?
A 1200 by 630 pixel image is a reliable size for a large link preview.
Why does an old preview still show?
Networks cache previews. Use the network debugger to ask for a fresh scrape after you change the tags.
