In 1972, the UN General Assembly established the World Development Information Day to draw people&#8217;s attention towards development problems and the need to strengthen international cooperation to solve these. The day coincides with the United Nations Day which also falls on 24 October.<\/p>\n<h2>World Development Information Day: History<\/h2>\n<p>On 17 May 1972, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development proposed various measures for information dissemination of public opinion relative to trade and development problems. On 19 December 1972, the UN General Assembly passed the resolution 3038 (XXVII) and declared October 24 as the World Development Information Day. World Development Information Day was first observed on 24 October 1973.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>17 Sustainable Development Goals<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aviancetechnologies.com\/blog\/world-development-information-day\/\"><strong><em>World Development Information Day<\/em><\/strong><\/a> has been promoted by various organizations under the United Nations, the official page of the UN has informed people about 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
